Welcome to Elite Learning Academy

Elite Learning Academy will be a homeschool-styled curriculum lead education located in Yukon,OK. ELA will be an onsite, year-around facility. We will run 5 days a week with extended hours offered for working parents. ELA will provide a back-to-basics education program lead by a certified teacher. The program will have more emphasis on the importance of students having a strong foundation in the fundamental skills of reading, writing, social studies and mathematics. ELA's program will have life skill learning opportunities. The back-to-basics program focuses on ensuring that students have a deep understanding of these basic skills before moving onto more advanced concepts. Rather than standardize testing, we will evaluate based on individual abilities. This will allow students to grow in areas that they excel in as well as build on areas that they need more improvement in. ELA will start out offering Pre-k through Kindergarten classes with low classroom sizes and the potential to grow into  further grades each year.

Our teachers are highly trained with a with a combined 25+ years of experience in early childhood and Elementary age environment. Our lead teacher holds an Associates and Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and is certified in the state of Oklahoma.  She has owned and ran a DHS licensed in-home childcare for 19 years and is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for every child.  All teachers are overseen and all staff hiring and training are overseen by the lead teacher ensuring standards are in place and consistent. We have a low student-teacher ratio to ensure individual attention tailored for each child at a ratio of 12:2.

Our curriculum is based on a Montessori style at a homeschooling level, which emphasizes practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, and cultural studies. We will fulfill  basic education requirements that consists of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, which includes civics, and a study of the US Constitution, health, safety, the arts, physical education and conservation. All will be tailored to specific age, grade and levels of abilities. We are currently offering pre-K and kindergarten age for the first year. We will then add a first and second grade level, then a third and fourth grade level and continue on through the eighth grade. All with low enrollment and closely related age groups that will encourage community support, responsibilities, and input that will teach children a sense of belonging and support for each other.

ELA will use the Oak Meadow K-12 Curriculum Homeschool Program. This program is tailored to national education standards to ensure the best possible learning environment for your child at their individual level.
